Breast reduction
The surgery consists of partial removal of the mammary gland and reposition of the nipple into higher position.
Indications for breast reduction
Woman's desire to reduce breast volume and correct its shape is the indication for the surgery. Big mammary glands can cause various problems: permanent pain in cervical and thoracic spine, skin irritation in the fold under the mammary gland. Cosmetic defect plays an important role as women are most often annoyed by inadequate esthetic appearance of breasts and skin reddening.
